Oh Happy Day!!

Jack and I had a terrific day today!! The weather was absolutely perfect for his 'first' ever pair of shorts...his hat and sunglasses too!! I was so excited to get him dressed, go outside and let him explore! I wasn't brave enough to sit him down in the grass, so he used his Bumbo, awful Mommy I know! We blew bubbles, chewed on sunglasses, played with Tobie and had the best time! He even cried when I brought him in!! It was super fun and what a blessed day it was! I hope everyone enjoyed the sunshine!! We love you all!!
Ready for the SUNSHINE!!
First time touching grass!! ...He wasn't too sure about it!

Wore out little buddy, he finally was ready to come in and get some juice!!

Fun with friends!!

Today, Jack and I had visitors!! Which we LOVE!! Carrie brought her son, Baylor over today to 'play'!! (I'm not sure if the boys enjoy it as much yet as we do!) The boys were both good...I only got a few shots of them together, both in their 'seats'...just thought they were cute. Hope you enjoy!!
What a beautiful day it has turned out to be!! Yippee for spring and SUNSHINE!!!
Oh and Baylor was born Nov. 6th...just a little over 7 weeks after Jack!!

(I hope Carrie got a picture of them both looking at the same camera!! I didn't!!)

"Did you hear what your Mommy just said?"

"Hey...Come back here...I was trying to get your ear!"

Use Your Good Dishes...

I came across this song today, one that I hadn't heard by Point of Grace. For those of you not familiar with them or their music, they are a wonderful Christian women's group that has been around for many years. I listened to this song and got teary eyed...

I feel that everyday, we take our lives, loved one's, good fortune, bad luck, etc. for granted. I know I do. I am so lucky and so blessed. I have a beautiful family, an amazing husband, the perfect little boy...what more could I ask for? I am so thankful to have my friends also, the ones that are always there...no matter what the situation is. The ones that do not judge, that just love.

This past week, my parents lost one of their neighbors. Dr. Bob. He was an amazing man, always there when we needed him for those 'emergency' situations when we had no one else to call...I felt so sad when I heard he died. He had just recently built his 'dream home' and was in the process of selling the home he had in their neighborhood. Dr. Bob died of a stroke. Someone found him at his computer desk at work, slumped over. He was brain dead. I am not sure exactly why this hit me so hard. I guess it just brings up those feelings of 'thinking' someone will always be there. Prime example...my Nanny. I never, honest to the Lord above thought she'd die...maybe silly, but I couldn't imagine our lives without her. And Dr. Bob...he was a dr. for goodness sake! The people that take care of us aren't supposed to just up and die like that...but I know God had other plans for him and his work here was done.

I just got sad knowing that there are people in my life that may not know how I feel about them, how much I love and appreciate them. I think it is more of a 'scared' feeling...one of "if I go tomorrow, will everyone know how much I loved them?" kinda things. I just want everyone to know, how thankful I am to have you in my life...one way or the other.

Here are the lyrics to the song... I hope you enjoy it and remember everyday..."How You Live" by Point of Grace.

Wake up to the sunlight with your windows open
Don’t hold in your anger or leave things unspoken
Wear your red dress use your good dishes
Make a big mess and make lots of wishes
Have what you want, but want what you have
And don’t spend you life looking back
Turn up the music Turn it up Loud
Take a few chances Let it all out
Because you won’t regret it
Looking back from where you have been
Because it’s not who you knew and it’s not what you did
It’s how you Live
So go to the ballgames and go to the ballet
go see your folks more than just on the holidays
Kiss all your children Dance with your wife
Tell your husband you love him every night
Don’t run from the truth cause you can’t get away
Oh no
Just face it and you’ll be ok
Turn up the music Turn it up Loud
Take a few chances Let it all out
Because you won’t regret it
Looking back from where you have been
Because it’s not who you knew and it’s not what you did
It’s how you Live
Where ever you are and wherever you’ve been
Now is a time to begin So give to the needy and Pray for the grieving Even when you don’t think that you can
Cause all that you do is bound to come back to you
So think of your fellow man
And make peace with God and Make peace with yourself
Oh yeah
Cause in the end there’s nobody else

Beach Bound Baby!!

After our visit with all our friends on Thursday, Jack and I had to stop by Babies R Us and pick up a few things...well anyone with a child and that has ever gone into BRU knows you can't just go in there for what you 'need'...we HAD to look around too!
I am on the hunt for another pair of swim trunks and swim shirt for Jack for the summer and ran across this hat...that we had to buy! I couldn't believe the smile he gave me with this thing on!! He is such a ham!! He has one pair of Polo trunks, but we need more since we are going to be loving the summer sun and water this year!!

Jack and I are SO excited to go and pick up Saydie from school early today! We are having a 'special' day with her! We are going to practice her 'ton (baton) since Mrs. Carrie was out of town yesterday and couldn't have her practice (she was SO upset about this Mrs. Carrie!). I told her last week I'd come and help her do her tricks and get really good so she could show Mrs. Carrie she was learning and practicing while she was gone! After we play for a few hours we are going to watch Cooper in his t-ball tournament! Jack and I are so excited to get down to the ball field...last time I was there, Jack was still a bakin' in my tummy! I can't wait to see how good Cooper is this year!! Next, hopefully soon we get to have a 'special' day with Coop!! I am still trying to figure out what we can do, but Jack and I are really excited about it (whatever it is)!!

Oh and we are also super duper excited to just get out of the house and enjoy our family and the warm beautiful weather!!

Enjoy the picture!!

Kids Kids EVERYWHERE!

Yesterday (Thursday), Jackson and I made our way to visit some wonderful friends that we hardly ever get to see! Ms. Mandi and her 2 boys were in town from South Carolina for the week and went to stay with Ms. Christy and her 2 girls for 2 nights! I was so excited everyone was going to get together and then the best surprise was Ms. Staci and her son were coming in from Kentucky to visit for the day too!! I was so excited the night before to be around everyone I could hardly sleep!! Christy, Mandi and Staci were pregnant at the same time! They all had beautiful babies...almost 3 years ago!! (Which is so hard for me to believe their 'babies' will be 3 soon!) Mandi and Christy now both have 2 children, Staci still has just one beautiful boy and of course we just got our first blessing almost 7 months ago!! SO, it was 4 Mommy's, 6 Kids...ALL under the age of 3!! Needless to say, Jack and I didn't know what we were in for, but it was so much fun watching everyone play, push each other, fight, watch movies together, sing and just have a great time! It's hard for me to believe Jack will be up running around with them in no time!! Thanks to Ms. Christy for letting us 'use' her home...Ms. Mandi for making the trip and Ms. Staci too! It was so great to be around all of you and talk about "what did you do when" or "when did you get rid of the passy"...those fun questions that I have being a new Mom! Oh and it was very good to see Ms. Patti too! We haven't seen her since the football games last fall and it was nice to see she is feeling better and playing with all these kiddo's!!
I love and miss you all already!

Here are some pictures from our fun day! Enjoy and we hope everyone has a great weekend, Jack and I are on our way to visit family in the morning with Nana and we are sooo excited! (We just wished Jack's Aunt Cici was coming too... :(...)

Here is Everyone...Minus Connor ...he was napping.

Mandi, Walker (almost 3), Staci, Carson (Almost 3), Jackson (Almost 7 mos.), Addison (Almost 3), Christy, and Juliana (Almost 5 mos.)
